StatSheet's NEC Player of the Week for February 6th goes to Wagner's Latif Rivers. StatSheet's NEC Freshman of the Week is Mount St. Mary's's Kelvin Parker. And finally, Wagner's Orlando Parker has received StatSheet's NEC 6th Man of the Week. Rivers registered 4 rebounds per game, 50% shooting, and 19 points per game. The Wagner sophomore put these numbers up in wins against Robert Morris and St. Francis (PA).

Rivers topped all scoring for the Seahawks with 28 points while also adding 4 rebounds in an 80-69 win over Robert Morris. He followed that up with 10 points and 4 assists in a 72-54 win over St. Francis (PA).

This is the first StatSheet NEC Player of the Week award for Latif Rivers. However, he has come in second once. The runner-up this week is Ike Azotam, a sophomore from Quinnipiac. Honorable mention goes to our own C.J. Garner.

StatSheet NEC Freshman of the Week: Mount St. Mary's's Kelvin Parker

Kelvin Parker averaged 37 minutes of playing time as a starter for Mount St. Mary's. He bested all NEC freshmen in both scoring (18.5 pts per game) and three pointers (3.5 per game). In a 64-51 win over St. Francis (PA), Parker led all scoring for the Mountaineers with 20 points on 61% shooting. Following that in a 67-62 loss to Robert Morris, he dialed up 17 points and 3 rebounds.

This is the first StatSheet NEC Freshman of the Week honor for Kelvin Parker. Jalen Cannon from St. Francis (NY) grabs runner-up. Honorable mention goes to Lucky Jones from Robert Morris.

StatSheet NEC 6th Man of the Week: Wagner's Orlando Parker

Sophomore Orlando Parker, a 6-8 reserve forward, averaged 13 minutes of action over the two games for the Seahawks. In the win against Robert Morris, Parker got 4 points and 5 rebounds. Then in the win over St. Francis (PA), he racked up 10 points on 55% shooting.

This is the first StatSheet NEC 6th Man of the Week award for Orlando Parker. Josh Thompson, a junior forward from Wagner, is the runner up. Our own Kenny Onyechi receives honorable mention. Long Island players have been named StatSheet NEC Player of the Week 2 times this season.
